Chef de Partie:

The role of a Chef de Partie is to plan, prepare, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. Direct, train and monitor performance of Commis chefs. Maintain organisation, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

The Ideal candidates will possess:


  • Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions.

  • Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of  employees and guests as appropriate.
  • Knowledge of food safety handling.
  • Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and follow up.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.  


The successful candidate will have training and experience in a high standard food prep and service environment.
